CD (DIG-IPACK)

This is what our CD digi-pack looks like. We are quite pleased of how our CD looks like as we feel as though we have followed the conventions of how digi-packs are supposedly to look like. We were inspired by the Rihanna digi-pack as her CD cover have a simplistic feel as well as having the same colour scheme which runs throughout her covers which we wanted to include for our CD digi-pack.

As you can see, this particular digi-pack is very image based. We liked this as the visuals of the digi-pack gives an insight or the feel of what the album will be about. We wanted to use as well as move aways from this convention as we did not want our digi-pack to be image based. However, we did not want too much writing as it is uncommon for people in this generation to buy digi-packs so too much writing may put them off. However, we did write a quote as we feel that it may satisfy the audience's needs.
The fact that only fans buy digi-packs as they would want a hard copy of product instead of listening to it on a device, or on an app such as, spotify; it was important for the digi-pack to interact with the target audience and make it worth the price.

  1. These ancillary tasks are out of 10 each. So for this CD/Digipack i would probably give it a 5 or 6/10. I have to make a judgement that there is an excellent skill level here and there are a few things that could be improved.
The text on the track titles page isn't laid out properly. It needs to be adjusted so all the distances are equal between the words.

'the moment is now to live again' i think could be phrased better. The pictures all have the same colour palette and feel too same so it would be better to change for something different. I don't think the image you chose for the main front cover is strong enough either so i would re do that. 2 or 3 of the photos from the pages are the same photo just with a different effect put on which is a little bit lazy. But with a few changes this could be really good!
