Why we chose the song
We chose to create a music video with the song "You and Me" - by Disclosure.
We choose our song mainly because with love the fast tempo of the song. We thought we could play our video using fast cuts, in unison with the song.
We choose our song mainly because with love the fast tempo of the song. We thought we could play our video using fast cuts, in unison with the song.
We also love how the lyrics makes it out like everything is so irrelevant to the characters. Just focusing on now and then, its so free and individual.
We also thought about what kind of audience we were trying to connect with. The song is young and what young people think about; love, friendship and unity. The lyrics also go with our storyline as the theme of love and not being left put runs through it. And our idea is about three friends and the world around them trying to stay together.

LYRICS AND SHOTS ...
As a group we thought it would be a good idea to print out the lyrics of the song. As a brief as well as enabling us to visualise the video with the lyrics. It helped to develop the storyline, and see which shots should go where. Listening to the song continuously and discussing helped for future production. For example the line ' So please don't let go ,cause you know exactly what we found' at 2:45 seconds this is when we will show the distance in the friendship. listening to the beat and cuts in the song with the lyrics helped us time our video.
we came up list of different shot ideas that we thought sounded good and was suitable for our video. here is the list. We didn't know how rewind from the adult versions of the characters to the younger versions, but after talking and looking at videos, we came up with the 360 shot. This is also beneficial for us, as on the day of filming as we can quickly take the list out to see if we forgot anything and we can film it.

A2 Media Studies
This music video isn't of best quality, however the performance is incredible. It is shown by the choreography that the girls worked hard and thought carefully before recording. They were confident, the star of the group made a lot of eye contact with the camera, showig confidence. This is one thing BFS will take from this A2 video.
We believe this a great A2 video, the use of camera shots are creative and high quality, for example in the beginning the fast motion birds eye shot, showing how fast pace London is, but as the girl is in the frame it's slow, conveying her as being unimportant to the world.
We love the use of prop in this video, the drums with the colorful powder is cool. The quality of the video is great, ever shot hits the beat of the song.

VIDEOS WE LIKE ...
For the performance in our video- we will be using be the black background with flashing or filtered light as illustrated in the Calvin Harris- How Deep Is Your Love music video. The use of lights go with the video as the video is chaotic and constantly changing, its as if the colours represent her emotions, her getting use to different environments.
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kQ1m-5rJKo -looking at this video it has given us a idea of how to accomplish our idea.
This is Rita Ora- Body On Me. With this video, we will be replicating the bit where it rewinds. we will do this at the beginning of our video. The use of a reversing is effective, adds mystery to the video.
We don't like the video, however we have decided to do our video as a pov. We feel it is unique, we want the audience to be connected and we feel using pov we allow the audience to feel the true emotions of the character.
